Meet Renee!

Renee Massicci, formerly Chambers, is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Everyday Healthcare. She brings a diverse range of healthcare experience to her role as an urgent and primary care FNP.

Originally from San Diego, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon and her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University.

Renee has her hands in many worlds, including emergency medicine, hospital care, and rehabilitation, giving her a well-rounded understanding of patients at every stage of health.

She began as an EMT and physical therapy aide before moving into hospital-based care, eventually taking care of patients in the ER for three years. Those years were crucial to shaping her beliefs in patient-centered care and deepened her love for family healthcare and hands-on procedures.

Building trust with her patients

Renee’s approach to medicine is patient-centered and collaborative. She believes in building trust, listening closely, and empowering patients with education so they feel confident in their care.

Her goal is for every patient to leave a visit knowing their concerns were heard and that a plan was made together that fits their needs.

She also values preventative medicine, recognizing how many conditions seen in the ER could be avoided with earlier intervention and patient education.

Outside of medicine, Renee enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Michael, and their Australian Shepherd, Beau. She’s also an avid sports fan and loves cheering on the Oregon Ducks, Los Angeles Chargers, and San Diego Padres.
