What Happens During the TB test?
- A small amount of tuberculin is injected under the skin of your forearm.
- After 48-72 hours, you must return to one of our locations for a healthcare provider examine the area for a reaction.
The Results:
- If the area is raised or swollen, it may indicate TB exposure.
- It’s possible the positive results could be either latent (non-contagious) or active.
- Our healthcare provider will guide you through the next steps if a positive diagnosis occurs.
