Urgent care vs. ER — which is right?
Come to EveryDay for:
- Sore throat, cough, fever
- Sprained or possibly broken bone
- Cuts that may need stitches
- UTI symptoms
- Mild allergic reactions
- Flu, COVID, strep testing
- Minor burns
- Ear infections, pink eye
Go to the ER for:
- Chest pain or pressure
- Stroke symptoms (face droop, slurred speech)
- Severe bleeding that won't stop
- Trouble breathing
- Head injury with confusion
- Severe abdominal pain
- Major trauma or fall
- Suicidal thoughts
When in doubt, call 911 or go to the nearest ER.
